Hello Friends,
After my last sojourn in the south of France, I’ve changed a few facets of the tour; the obvious one, offering an 11-day/11-night South of France Adventure next October.
While under the umbrella of the luxe LoFT Tours, and it will be posted there as well, this one hits a different tone. And while it is ‘a cut above’ in comfort, and the food is farm-to-table and gastronomique, we stay primarily in country homes (with private rooms and en suites).
It holds the same panorama; visiting out-of-the-way villages, brocantes, places of interest speckled across the lands we travel. We include the extraordinary tragedy of the Cathars, itself a piece of historical significance worth reconciling, and then travel east into the ‘myth or magic’ of what the deep South of France holds sacred; the life of Mary Magdalene.
The offering of this particular journey — how and where and when the land and destinations themselves speak to you — is totally yours.
As guide, I can only take you there.
What you do with that, how you receive it, becomes your journey — and ours.
And that is quite the gift.
