Twenty-one years ago, I departed my beloved Mt Shasta with my three young children and dog, to set up a light center in the HEART of France, bring the Work to Europe, and carry forward into another time and space, all I’ve been given.
I fell flat on my face. Fool as I am, it didn’t keep me from trying.
I’ve always considered ‘dropping the Work in’ to new locations — Iceland, to start — then all over Europe, had purpose. My personal idea of what that form looked like had to morph a thousandfold. And it did.
The Work never changed. It grew. It became more of Itself … but the foundational structure remained the same, with the holy purpose of bringing one into experiential contact of the Light Within. That’s a lot to let go of, to get there.
Seven years on the mountain, cultivating, throwing away, harnessing the Light, not attaching to — well, in the end much of anything — all of this was part and parcel of seven years of training before I began to deliver abroad.
Then the REAL Work began! People in all their disguises!
I’m sitting this moment, in a friend’s home on the mountain, housesitting. Looking straight up to the blinding white summit. The air is breezy, crisp and dry; light clouds are quickly moving through — I’ll be going up the mountain today to commune. I remember the exact location of a first ‘hello in there’ moment. There’s no point in trying to explain that except to say I shall go back to that exact location and bow to the God Within.
Here now, in Mt. Shasta, some things never change. The outer small mountain town vibe is as it ever was. You could *think* there’s not much here — except a mountain. Tibetan flags in the gardens are weathered nearly to white.
My ‘foot on each continent’ grasp of this my life, brought forward delivery of the five day retreats in Chartres, France for — 20 years now. Still going strong.
In fact, Chartres is scheduled for October 2018. And, private one-on-one retreats have been ‘refined and expanded’ at the Abbey of Mont St Michel, on the coast of Normandy.
But in full return, the circle connected, this includes Soul Fusion returning to Mt Shasta. It’s time to bring it back home. The thought of that fills my cup to overflowing.
